Hybrid 3/2 Model – San Antonio
Compensation: $50,000-$70,000 DOE
Role Overview
This role supports month‑end close, general ledger maintenance, and financial reporting for a well‑established multi‑entity company.
Responsibilities
- Complete routine accounting functions supporting month‑end close.
- Prepare accurate general ledger entries and financial statements.
- Reconcile general ledgers and research, analyze, and document explanations for variances.
- Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger in accordance with GAAP, maintaining complex Excel spreadsheets for supporting documentation.
Qualifications
- Accounting degree and at least 2 years of accounting experience.
- Understanding of GAAP demonstrated through accurate application.
- Experience with reconciliations, journal entries, and month‑end close.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
