Warehouse Worker

National Pump Company: a designer and manufacturer of high-quality pumping solutions used worldwide for municipal, industrial, and agricultural markets, is seeking an experienced pump Assembler for our Glendale, AZ manufacturing operation.
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Worker to support our manufacturing operations. This role plays a critical part in ensuring accurate inventory control, efficient material flow, and a safe, organized warehouse environment. Key Responsibilities:
Material Handling & Inventory Support
- Receive and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and documentation
- Load, unload, move, and store raw materials, components, and finished goods
- Pick, stage, and deliver materials to production and shipping areas
- Label and store materials in designated warehouse locations
- Maintain accurate inventory records through system updates and documentation
- Perform cycle counts and assist with physical inventory processes
- Identify and report discrepancies, shortages, or damaged materials
Safety & Equipment Operation
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely
- Conduct routine equipment inspections and report issues
- Follow all safety procedures, policies, and standard operating guidelines
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free workspace
- Use required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times
- Inspect incoming and outgoing materials for accuracy and quality
- Ensure proper labeling, packaging, and storage to prevent damage
- Communicate material availability and shortages to supervisors and production teams
- Support production flow by ensuring timely material delivery
- Assist with preparing materials for shipment
- Perform additional duties as needed to support operations
Qualifications
Required:
- Ability to read and understand work orders, labels, and basic documentation
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Preferred:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ year of warehouse, stocking, order picking, or packaging experience
- Experience operating forklifts or other material handling equipment
