About Lucid

At Lucid, we are creating exceptional mobility experiences through innovation to drive the world forward. Built on Lucid’s proprietary technology and software-defined vehicle architecture, our award-winning vehicles bring our “Compromise Nothing™” approach to the global automotive market. That means refusing to choose between performance and sustainability, design and engineering, ambition and integrity. In Lucid Air and Lucid Gravity, we have designed and built vehicles that have redefined their segments, combining exceptional range, performance, design, and expansive space in a single experience.

We achieve this through deep vertical integration, with design, engineering, and production happening in-house across our global offices and manufacturing facilities. Our teams come from industries around the world, united by a shared commitment to excellence. By refusing to settle, you can help redefine what’s possible and shape the future of mobility.

Lucid Motors is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Learning Development (Instructional Design) Intern to support the development and enhancement of training materials. In this role, you will help design engaging learning content, maintain training materials within our Learning Management System (LMS), and ensure documentation is clear, consistent, and aligned with evolving business needs. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in digital learning, content design, and customer experience enablement within a premium, fast-growing EV company.

What you’ll do

You’ll support the Training and Development team across content creation, Learning Management System (LMS) maintenance, and stakeholder coordination:

Support the creation and updates of e-learning modules (e.g., onboarding, product training, CX processes) with guidance from the team

Assist in converting existing materials into engaging digital formats (e.g., presentations, short videos, quizzes, microlearning)

Apply basic instructional design principles with support from senior team members

Upload, organize, and maintain content within the Learning Management System (LMS)

Assist in ensuring courses are up to date, clearly structured, and accessible to the right audiences

Support basic tracking and reporting on training completion

Assist in reviewing and updating existing training materials based on feedback or process updates

Create and maintain clear job aids, quick reference guides, and simple “how-to” documentation

Ensure consistency in formatting, tone, and branding across learning materials

Collaborate with subject matter experts (CX, Retail, Service, Operations) to gather input and translate it into clear training content

Support translating business information into simple and easy-to-understand training content

Flag gaps or inconsistencies in training materials and suggest improvements

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for someone who is curious, organized, and excited about learning design and employee/customer enablement:

Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Instructional Design, Learning Development, Education, Psychology, Communications, or a related field

Strong interest in digital learning, training design, and content creation

Excellent written communication skills (clear, structured, and audience-friendly)

Strong attention to detail, especially when reviewing and updating content

Comfortable using PowerPoint and Word, and collaborating in shared tools (e.g., Teams/SharePoint/OneDrive or similar)

Creative mindset with the ability to simplify complex information

Strong organization and time-management skills

Collaborative mindset / comfortable working with cross-functional teams

Nice to have

Exposure (coursework or projects) to e-learning tools such as Articulate Storyline/Rise, Adobe Captivate, or similar

Familiarity with an LMS (e.g., Cornerstone, Highspot, SuccessFactors, Moodle)

Basic design skills (visual hierarchy, layouts, simple video editing, Canva/Adobe)

Interest in customer experience, product training, or the automotive/EV industry is a plus

What you’ll gain

Hands-on experience in instructional design and digital learning in a European, international context

Exposure to how training supports customer experience and business execution

Practical experience with LMS content management, content updates, and training reporting

Opportunities to collaborate with SMEs across multiple teams and markets

Concrete deliverables you can showcase (modules, guides, templates, structured learning content)

Mentorship and guidance from experienced stakeholders in Learning and Enablement

Lucid Motors is committed to maintaining a safe and trustworthy environment. As such, a background check may be required during the hiring process. This will be performed in line with European data protection laws, and candidates will be informed and asked to provide consent before the check is conducted.
