Job Responsibilities:

• Use standardized recipes and production guidelines to prepare a range of baked goods.
• Set up your work area with all the required tools and ingredients for the baking process.
• Organize the necessary items by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, and performing additional preparation tasks.
• Use baking equipment like ovens, cookers, and mixers.
• Ensure the safe and proper utilization of kitchen utensils, especially knives, when cooking.
• Comply with food safety regulations for the adequate storage of food.
• It is important to properly clean and sanitize workspaces, tools, and utensils once they have been used.
• Uphold exceptional customer service standards and maintain a positive attitude when interacting with guests, customers, clients, colleagues, and others.
• Abide by Aramark safety measures, which include following established protocols for food safety and cleanliness.
• Follow prescribed security protocols to guarantee the protection of company resources.

Qualifications:

• It is preferred that applicants have prior experience as a baker or in a similar capacity.
• Sound understanding of baking practices, norms, and regulations for ensuring food safety.
• Certification: Necessary for acquiring food safety certification(s).
• Fundamental abilities in mathematics and counting are vital.
• Displays strong communication capabilities, both in written communication and verbal interactions, reflecting excellent interpersonal skills.
• Physical Standards: Must be capable of handling physical tasks, such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and prolonged walking/standing.
• Utilizing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and wearing designated uniforms might be required for this role.
