Waterproofing Carpenter-Foreman; Division

Position: Waterproofing Carpenter-Foreman (Division 7)

DPR Construction is seeking a Waterproofing Carpenter/Foreman for our Self Perform Division 7 team, with commercial construction experience, in the Fort Lauderdale, FL area.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple demanding tasks while producing quality work and consistently meeting deadlines.
• Apply and supervise commercial waterproofing and fire prevention scopes: air barriers, joint sealants, floor polishing, below grade waterproofing, hot applied waterproofing, under‑slab waterproofing, fire stopping, and expansion joint installation.
• Work in hot/cold weather and at heights, lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Ensure all required PPE is worn in dusty and loud environments.

Qualifications

• Minimum experience in commercial waterproofing and fire prevention scopes as listed above.
• Excellent listening skills and strong communication ability.
• Ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
• Ability to create and support team morale.
• Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite, project management software, accounting cost management software, and scheduling software.
• Strong technical knowledge in moisture and fire protection.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must work in hot or cold weather and at heights.
• Must wear all required PPE and work in dusty and loud environments.
