Job Summary:

Shema Kolainu – Hear Our Voices (SKHOV) is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Teacher ABA (EI) to join our team of professionals in providing high-quality education to children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and related developmental disabilities. As a Special Education Teacher ABA (EI), you will work closely with children and families to develop and implement individualized educational plans, promoting independence, productivity, and inclusion in the community.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized educational plans for children with ASD and related developmental disabilities
  • Provide direct instruction and support to students in various settings, including schools, homes, and community-based locations
  • Collaborate with parents, teachers, and therapists to ensure comprehensive support for students
  • Conduct initial assessments, progress monitoring, and evaluations to inform educational planning and progress
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices in autism education and related therapies
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Special Education or related field

Special Education Certification

  • $65 - $80 HOURLY salary
  • PART-TIME & FULL-TIME opportunities available
  • 2 years of experience, with a strong understanding of autism spectrum disorder and related developmental disabilities
  • Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with families, teachers, and therapists
  • Flexibility to work in various settings, including schools, homes, and community-based locations

What We Offer:

PTO - 20 hours and over- 2 days PTO

  • 30 hours and over- 2 days PTO and 2 days holiday pay
