Precision CNC Machinist

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Precision CNC Machinist to join our production team. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in both Haas CNC equipment and manual machining to produce high-quality components, ensuring that every part meets exact specifications while optimizing manufacturing workflows.

Responsibilities

• Configure and operate a variety of machining equipment, including manual lathes, mills, and grinders to achieve precise tolerances.
• Analyze complex technical drawings and blueprints to determine the most efficient machining sequences.
• Drive quality outcomes by monitoring active machining cycles and performing real-time adjustments to CNC programming.
• Ensure equipment reliability by conducting routine preventative maintenance and proactively troubleshooting mechanical issues.
• Contribute to operational excellence by collaborating with the team to refine production processes and boost overall output.
• Uphold a high standard of workplace safety and organization to foster an efficient production environment.

Qualifications

Required Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Demonstrated professional experience in a machining or manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in operating Haas CNC mills and manual machining tools.
• Strong technical aptitude for interpreting blueprints and engineering specifications.
• Solid understanding of CNC tooling, programming, and material properties.

Preferred Skills

• Technical degree or specialized certification in machining.
• Experience with 3-4 axis VMC operations.
• Advanced problem-solving skills and a focus on continuous improvement.
