You will establish relationships with customers, local law enforcement, and fire departments while maintaining a vigilant presence in the assigned area. Key Responsibilities:

• Control access points and manage pedestrian and vehicle traffic.
• Patrol premises and surroundings regularly.
• Escort personnel and materials as required.
• Inspect security and fire safety systems.
• Carry out special assignments as directed.

General Duties:

• Arrive on time and in complete uniform.
• Maintain a friendly, professional demeanor while greeting visitors and employees.
• Stay updated on post orders and relevant information from management.
• Conduct thorough patrols or maintain a fixed post, reporting any suspicious activity and responding to incidents.
• Monitor security cameras and equipment as stipulated in post orders.
• Familiarize yourself with emergency policies and procedures to react effectively to alarms and crises.
• Document Daily Activity Reports, Log Entries, Incident Reports, and other necessary documentation.
• Offer recommendations for improving safety and loss prevention.
• Gain knowledge of life safety systems, fire panels, and operational protocols.
• Ensure compliance with training guidelines from management.
• Communicate regularly with the Security Supervisor regarding security issues or changes.
