Breakfast Server

Features Bar & Restaurant, located within the Hilton Fort Wayne at the Grand Wayne Convention Center, is seeking energetic, self-motivated, friendly, and service-oriented individuals to join our hospitality team as a Breakfast Server. The Breakfast Server is responsible for providing exceptional guest service during breakfast operations by greeting guests, taking food and beverage orders, serving meals efficiently, and ensuring a welcoming dining experience. The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, and is committed to creating memorable guest experiences.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival.
• Provide outstanding customer service and maintain a positive dining atmosphere.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and enter orders into the POS system.
• Serve food and beverages promptly and according to established service standards.
• Explain menu items, daily specials, and beverage offerings to guests.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and address concerns promptly and professionally.
• Prepare and maintain breakfast service stations.
• Refill beverages and ensure tables are properly maintained throughout service.
• Process guest checks and handle payments accurately.
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including cleaning and restocking.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining room, service areas, and workstations.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations.
• Work collaboratively with restaurant, kitchen, and hotel team members to ensure guest satisfaction.

• Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and some holidays.
• Must possess or be able to obtain an Indiana liquor license/permit as required.
• Previous restaurant or hospitality experience preferred but not required.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to lift, carry, and transport up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to bend, reach, stoop, and perform repetitive movements associated with food service.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
