Estimator/Project Manager

Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Estimator/Project Manager to join our team and drive the successful execution of construction projects from initial estimate to completion. Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed construction estimates utilizing Bluebeam, HeavyBid, and other estimating software, ensuring accuracy in pricing and scope.
• Lead negotiations with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to secure favorable terms and build lasting relationships.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, including budgets, schedules, and resource allocations, aligning with client expectations and company goals.
• Oversee all phases of project management from inception through completion, coordinating activities on-site and in the office.
• Monitor cost control measures throughout the project lifecycle to prevent overruns and identify opportunities for savings.
• Review contracts thoroughly to ensure compliance with scope, budget, and safety standards while managing contractual changes effectively.
• Collaborate closely with construction teams to ensure seamless communication between estimating, procurement, and field operations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in construction estimating combined with project management expertise within the construction industry.
• Proficiency in Bluebeam Revu for document management and markup; experience with HeavyBid or similar estimating software is highly desirable.
• Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence outcomes positively for all parties involved.
• Solid understanding of construction site operations, safety protocols, and construction management principles.
• Excellent knowledge of contracts, cost control strategies, pricing techniques, and project scheduling.
• Construction site experience that provides practical insight into field conditions and project execution challenges.
• Effective communication skills to liaise with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams confidently.

Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour
