Barista

We are looking for a MOTIVATED, experienced & RELIABLE barista. Someone who is a TEAM PLAYER, has a POSITIVE ATTITUDE and an inviting presence. This role requires accuracy and INTEGRITY.

Duties:

• Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks
• Take customer orders and process payments using the Clover POS system
• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and making recommendations
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area
• Follow health and safety guidelines for food handling and preparation
• Maintain inventory of supplies and restock as needed
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations

Skills:

• Food handling: Knowledge of proper food safety and sanitation practices
• Cash handling: Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
• Sales: Strong sales skills to upsell products and increase revenue
• Customer service: Excellent interpersonal skills to provide friendly and efficient service to customers
• POS (Point of Sale) systems: Experience using Clover POS or similar systems preferred
• Food preparation: Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques for beverages and light snacks
• Coffee: Familiarity with different coffee brewing methods and ability to make quality espresso-based drinks
• Time management: Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Helpfulness: Willingness to assist customers with any inquiries or concerns
