Hogan Landscapes is seeking an experienced Landscape Equipment & Shop Manager to take ownership of our shop, fleet, equipment, inventory, and repairs. This is a leadership position for someone who is highly organized, mechanically skilled, and takes pride in keeping a commercial landscape operation running efficiently.

This is not an entry-level mechanic position. We are looking for someone with hands-on experience repairing and maintaining commercial landscape equipment who can independently diagnose problems, communicate with management, and keep our crews productive.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial landscape equipment
  • Repair commercial mowers, 2-cycle equipment, pressure washers, trucks, trailers, skid steers, loaders, and other company equipment
  • Perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime
  • Respond to field service calls and complete emergency repairs when needed
  • Order parts and shop supplies through approved vendors
  • Maintain an organized, clean, and accountable shop
  • Track equipment repairs, inventory, and maintenance records
  • Ensure trucks and crews leave each morning with safe, operational equipment
  • Communicate repair status, equipment needs, and recommendations to management
  • Help enforce equipment accountability and identify damaged or abused equipment

Qualifications

  • Strong mechanical experience with commercial landscape equipment
  • Experience repairing:
  • Commercial zero-turn and stand-on mowers
  • 2-cycle equipment
  • John Deere skid steers and compact loaders (or similar)
  • Trucks and trailers
  • Pressure washers and utility equipment
  • Ability to troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues
  • Strong organization and inventory management skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
  • Valid Florida driver’s license

What We’re Looking For

The right candidate doesn’t wait to be told what needs attention. They take ownership, solve problems, communicate proactively, and understand that equipment downtime directly impacts production, profitability, and customer service.

If you enjoy keeping equipment running, crews productive, and operations organized, we’d like to meet you.
