Facilities Groundskeeper FT

Description

The Facilities Groundskeeper is responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of all exterior grounds and property areas to ensure a safe, clean, and professional environment. This position supports the Facilities Department by performing ground maintenance and assisting with general facilities maintenance tasks as needed.

Requirements

Minimum Education & Experience

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred
• 1-3 years of experience in groundskeeping, landscaping, or general maintenance preferred
• Ability to operate basic landscaping equipment
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Ability to follow directions and work independently or as part of a team
• Experience with a zero turn and lawn equipment is preferred

Licensure/Certification

• Valid NYS Driver's License preferred. Availability of insured personal vehicle to transport self as necessary.
