Responsibilities
Perform a variety of nuclear medicine imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols.
Prepare, calculate, and administer radiopharmaceuticals safely and accurately.
Operate gamma cameras, SPECT, and/or PET/CT equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
Monitor patients throughout procedures and provide excellent patient care and education.
Follow all radiation safety standards, infection control policies, and regulatory guidelines.
Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
Perform quality control procedures on imaging equipment and maintain required logs.
Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
