Del Mar Orthopedic Medical Practice seeks an experienced Medical Assistant who has at minimum, one year of experience and expertise drawing blood and performing PRP injections in collaboration with medical providers.
Busy Orthopedic practice specializing in treating patients with Upper and Lower extremity injuries in Del Mar is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant To assist with blood draws to get patient's labs done, and process PRPs as well as front and back-office duties.
Assistance with but not limitied to in-office procedures, perform vitals, EKG's, review pre-op and post-op instructions with patients, draw blood, remove sutures and drains from post-surgical patients.
Del Mar Orthopedic is seeking highly trained Medical Assistants that thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy serving patients with skill and compassion and a desire to help them recover from surgery.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is highly organized, able to multi-task, while maintaining a calm, professional demeanor but still working closely with patients to pursue treatment.
Having worked for at least one year in a medical practice or environment with physicians and surgeons, will give candidates a huge competitive advantage over candidates that lack that direct experience.

Must have excellent telephone skills, Ability to multitask in a high volume, busy medical office alongside Board Certified Orthopedic specialists and Orthopedic Surgeons.
We seek candidates who understand the importance of holding some patient's hands through the process of getting them the care they need. Patience and kindness are key to this position.
Additional Duties include but not limited to directing patients from waiting room to exam rooms, ordering labs from Quest Diagnostics, sending referrals, entering patient data into our practice database, creating patient charts, and pushing medications through our electronic system.
We need someone to guide our patients and help them to follow through with the treatment plans created by their providers. This is a big part of the job.

Current Medical Assistant Certification Required. Willing to travel to our satellite offices having reliable transportation to Del Mar during weekdays is a MUST.
