Adams 12 Five Star Schools is hiring for a Groundskeeper 1.0 FTE. The tiered pay structure below shows pay levels based on experience, skills and certifications. Your skills and qualifications will determine the grade/start rate of pay.

GRADE: G9 (Hourly Range/Step 1 - Step 8: $21.11 - $26.03)

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.

Must be at least 18 years old.

Minimum of 1 year's experience in landscaping and/or hardscaping preferred.

GRADE: G12 (Hourly Range/Step 1 - Step 8: $22.44 - $27.66)

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.

Must be at least 18 years old.

Minimum of three (3) years of experience in landscaping and/or hardscaping.

Certified Landscape Technician (CLT) endorsed in two of five areas (Softscape installation, Hardscape installation, irrigation, ornamental maintenance, turf maintenance) from ALCC or equivalent education. Five (5) years of similar or relevant experience may be substituted for this requirement.

Must have successfully completed the Public Applicator‑Spraying training.

GRADE: G12 (Hourly Range/Step 1 - Step 8: $24.48 - $30.19)

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.

Minimum of 18 years of age.

Minimum of five (5) years of related experience, preferably in areas of certification.

Certified Landscape Technician (CLT) certification in three of five areas (Softscape installation, Hardscape installation, irrigation, ornamental maintenance, turf maintenance) or equivalent education background.

One (1) of the following: Certified Playground Safety Institute certification, welding certification, certified arborist, or synthetic turf specialist or equivalent education background.

Commercial driver's license (CDL) with Class A endorsement required. Successful completion of a Department of Transportation (DOT) Physical required for hire.
