You will be responsible for processing transactions, balancing cash, and providing the best-of-the-best customer service. Qualifications:
- Prior experience in customer service is desired.
- Candidates with a background in handling cash are preferred.
- Adequate understanding of fundamental mathematical operations and counting abilities are necessary.
- Proficiency in completing responsibilities without constant oversight.
- Meeting the Food Handler and Alcohol Service training requirements is obligatory in accordance with the location's policies.
- The requirements of this role may include actions like lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended periods of walking and standing.
- The position may involve the necessity of wearing certain garments and/or using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Job Responsibilities:
- Expertly manage transactions through the Register/POS system, maintaining accuracy and security in handling cash and credit card payments.
- Offer a warm reception to customers while foreseeing and addressing their requirements for a pleasant experience.
- Maintain the cash drawer by tallying, organizing, and ensuring the financial stability of the cash register; complete cashier documentation and process the necessary bank deposits.
- Consistently abide by Aramark's cash handling policies and procedures to ensure proper management.
- Have a strong knowledge of the merchandise on offer to support customers and ensure precise transaction processing.
- Manage the opening and closing tasks according to the operational hours set for the unit.
- Ensure the work area is kept sanitary and orderly during service and before finishing work.
- Maintain proper stock levels in the location by consistently replenishing supplies as required.
- Comply with all safety policies and procedures as required.
