Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Dental Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of dental office management. This role is crucial in ensuring the efficient functioning of our office, providing exceptional patient care, and maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations. Candidate should have experience in handling any issues a dental office faces from equipment maintenance to ordering to patient care and insurances
Responsibilities
- Manage the daily operations of the dental office, ensuring a smooth workflow and high-quality patient care.
- Supervise administrative staff, including receptionists and dental assistants, fostering a positive work environment.
- Oversee scheduling, patient records management, and billing processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Implement and maintain office policies and procedures in compliance with Osha standards.
- Develop and manage budgets, monitor expenses, and identify areas for cost reduction.
- Coordinate with dental providers to ensure effective communication regarding patient care and treatment plans.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge for efficient practice management.
- Handle patient inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a professional manner.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations and standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience in DENTAL office management.
- Strong understanding of medical administrative support functions, including billing, coding, and insurance verification.
- Familiarity with OSHA standards and regulations governing healthcare practices.
- Proficient in using Dental Software; Dentrix Ascend is a Plus!
- Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to lead a team effectively.
- Strong budgeting skills with experience in financial management within a medical context.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, staff, and healthcare providers.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour
