Job Summary:
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and improving manufacturing and warehouse equipment, facility systems, and building infrastructure to support safe and efficient operations. This role supports production uptime by performing preventive maintenance, responding to equipment failures, and assisting with facility improvement projects throughout the manufacturing campus.
The ideal candidate has experience in industrial maintenance within a manufacturing or warehouse environment and possesses strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills.
Job Duties:
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing and warehouse equipment
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and facility-related issues
Repair and maintain HVAC systems, air compressors, dock doors and levelers, conveyor systems, production equipment, electrical systems and lighting, plumbing systems, and office facilities
Respond to emergency maintenance requests to minimize downtime
Conduct routine inspections of facility systems and production equipment
Replace motors, belts, bearings, filters, switches, relays, sensors, and other components
Assist with installation and setup of new equipment and machinery
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, manuals, and technical drawings
Utilize CMMS or maintenance tracking systems to document work orders and repairs
Maintain maintenance inventory and communicate parts/material needs
Support contractor coordination and vendor activities as needed
Follow all OSHA, NFPA, company safety, and lockout/tagout procedures
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Assist with facility improvement and continuous improvement initiatives
Support warehouse operations and production teams as needed
