The Food & Beverage Attendant is responsible for positive guest interactions by welcoming guests, handling transactions in a friendly and efficient manner, and maintaining a clean and inviting restaurant facility. This position reports to the Restaurant Manager.

Essential Job Functions / Key Job Responsibilities

Responsible for following designated opening/closing procedures for the restaurant, to include housekeeping functions for restaurant and restroom areas

Engage with guests, helping as needed to ensure their needs are met

Utilize a point of sale (POS) system to accurately charge guests, apply discounts

Alert Restaurant Manager to discrepancies with pricing or other guest concerns/comments

Clean and clear tables efficiently, pre-bussing items at busy times to be able to turn tables quickly

Ensure all food items are stocked and alert manager to items which are out of stock

Move tables, chairs, bus stations to facilitate housekeeping and snow removal

Maintain cleanliness of bus stations to include removal of trash, recycling

Complete tasks and projects delegated by your manager and assist other departments as business volumes and staff levels demand

Other duties as assigned

Education & Experience Requirements

Must be over 16 years of age

Proficient guest service experience is preferred

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Ability to communicate and follow oral or written directions in English is required

Ability to ski or ride at an intermediate level is required for employees of ski in/ski out restaurants in winter

Ability to work in collaboration with others to achieve team goals

Ability to remain focused, organized, flexible, and detail-oriented

Follows all safety policies and procedures and exercises caution when working

Work Environment & Physical Demands

Ability to reach, crouch, kneel, stand, walk or be on your feet for extended periods of time

Regularly work in wet, hot and humid conditions for extended periods of time and may be required to walk on slippery and uneven surfaces

Must be able to continually lift, push or pull up to 50 lbs. individually or with assistance

Certain locations will require an employee to ski or snowboard
