MRI/X-Ray Technologist

We are currently seeking an experienced PRN/1st shift MRI / Xray Technologist. The ideal candidate must have good judgment, needs to be responsible, reliable, is comfortable working independently.

The responsibilities of the MRI/X-ray Technologist include, but are not limited to:

• Under general supervision, using radiologic equipment to capture images of internal organs for use by radiologists in the diagnosis of disease and the study of malfunction of organs
• Delivers and ensures customer service in all aspects to job
• Explains procedure to patient, giving opportunity for questions to reduce anxiety and promote trust
• Prepare the exam room and equipment to conduct examinations
• Recognize and record the appropriate anatomy and pathology using radiologic equipment
• Care properly for equipment and report any technical issues
• Alert appropriate medical staff of any abnormalities that need immediate attention
• Use the ability to solve problems and make decisions
• Work independently or with minimal supervision and as part of a team
• Manage multiple priorities and projects, and display flexibility in a fast-paced work environment
• Display good work ethic and friendly and cheerful disposition
• Maintain the strictest levels of confidentiality
• Pursue professional development for the continual improvement of patient care

Job Requirements:

• Associates Degree
• 1 year of MRI experience
• ARRT (R) required
• IEMA License Required
• BLS certification required
• Experience with DR (digital radiology) preferred
• MRI TESLA 1.5

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Weekends as needed

Experience:

• MRI: 1 year (Required)

License/Certification:

• IEMA (Required)
• ARRT (R) Certification (Required)
• CPR Certification (Required)
