Black Ark Builders is a heavy civil contractor based in Meridian, ID specializing in underground utilities, excavation, wastewater infrastructure, dewatering systems, and complex shored excavation work.
We are looking for a dependable, organized Office Manager to help support daily operations and improve overall workflow across the company.
This role works directly with ownership and operations leadership and will play a major role in helping keep projects, hiring, communication, paperwork, and administrative systems organized and moving efficiently.
This is a flexible role where success is measured more by impact, organization, and follow-through than strict office hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer phones and support day-to-day office communication
- Manage vendor and subcontractor accounts
- Maintain insurance, compliance, and onboarding documentation
- Support hiring efforts, applicant communication, and interview coordination
- Assist with HR and administrative compliance tracking
- Help organize project files, reports, billing, and documentation
- Coordinate with field and office staff to support operations
- Help improve workflows, organization, and internal systems
- Support estimating and company growth initiatives as needed

Pay: $22.23 - $34.84 per hour
