Consultant & Trainer (Property & Casualty)

Job Summary

We are a newly established California-based Property & Casualty insurance agency seeking an experienced insurance professional to help build our operational foundation. We are looking for a consultant with extensive agency experience who can develop processes, train staff, and ensure our team is prepared to handle both personal and commercial insurance accounts efficiently and accurately.

Responsibilities

Train agency employees on Property & Casualty insurance operations.

• Provide hands-on instruction for completing ACORD applications accurately and efficiently.
• Train staff on underwriting submission requirements and carrier expectations.
• Educate employees on coverage terminology, underwriting guidelines, and policy forms. ● Create training materials, checklists, and reference guides.
• Be available for ongoing consulting and support as the agency grows.Required Qualifications

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience working in a Property & Casualty insurance agency.
• Strong knowledge of California insurance markets and regulations.
• Extensive experience with ACORD forms and commercial insurance applications.
• Experience with: ● Personal Lines ● Commercial Property ● General Liability ● Commercial Auto ● Transportation Insurance ● Workers’ Compensation ● Ability to train new agency staff with patience and professionalism. ● Excellent communication and organizational skills. ● Experience working with multiple insurance carriers and underwriting submissions

Pay: From $23.75 per hour
