Caregiver Home Health Aide HHA/ SPANISH SPEAKING Hospice

We are currently hiring caregivers, Home Health Aides HHA or Certified Nursing assistants CNA who are FLUENT in SPANISH to assist with some of our homecare clients in the Newton-Metrowest area.

-Hospice exprience preffered

-Immediate openings for SPANISH speaking caregivers.

Must Haves:

• CNA Certificate or HHA certificate
• GED or High school, diploma
• Daytime availability
• Empathy and being able to redirect clients when needed.

Responsibilities of the CNA/HHA Caregiver include:

• Assistance with daily activities and personal care
• Companionship by providing socialization to those who may rarely leave their home
• Light homemaking such as dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, dish washing, taking out the trash, laundry, linen change, organizing, keeping areas clear for walking safety
• Medication reminders
• Preparing meals and snacks
• Accompanying client on errands or medical appointments
• Assisting with prescribed range of motion exercises
• Dementia/ Alzheimer's care
• Hospice care
• Driving, grocery shopping and running errands as needed

Requirements of the CNA/HHA Caregiver:

• Must have a desire to help seniors stay safely and comfortably in their homes
• Hopsice exprience Prefrered
• Certified Nursing Assistant license or Home Health Aide certification
• Must be able to lift/move 50 lbs without assistance
• Must have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Must be authorized to work in the US
• High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate preferred

Our clients are in and around the Boston Metro West area including Waltham, Newton, Brookline, Needham, Wellesley, Natick, Wayland, Framingham, Sudbury and Marlborough.
