Position Overview:

ESA Fabrication is seeking a highly motivated, resilient, and detail-oriented Project Manager to oversee the quotation and process management of custom metal fabrication projects. This individual will play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless project execution, from initial client inquiry to project completion. The ideal candidate will bring a solid background in the electrical industry, proven project management experience, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, fluid, customer-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

1.Quotation Management:

  • Collaborate with clients to gather project requirements and specifications.
  • Prepare detailed and accurate project quotations for custom metal fabrication jobs.
  • Analyze costs, materials, and timelines to ensure competitive and profitable pricing.

2.Project Planning and Coordination:

  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, and budgets.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, and procurement, to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project success.

3.Client Relations and Communication:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining clear and consistent communication.
  • Provide updates on project progress, address concerns, and manage client expectations effectively.

4.Process Management:

  • Oversee the fabrication process, ensuring adherence to quality standards and project timelines.
  • Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Monitor project milestones and ensure timely delivery.

5.Technical Oversight:

  • Leverage electrical industry knowledge to provide technical input and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with the design team to ensure alignment with client specifications.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Experience:
  • Minimum 5 years of project management experience, preferably in custom metal fabrication or the electrical industry.
  • Proven track record of managing complex, custom projects from inception to completion.
  • Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the electrical industry, including codes, standards, and best practices.
  • Skills:
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
  • Familiarity with CAD or SolidWorks software is a plus
  • Familiarity with Sage 100 is a plus
  • Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
  • Ability to adapt and overcome complex situations.
  • Ability to be a leader and a team-player.
