Staff Accountant I

About the Role:

We’re growing, and we’re looking for a Staff Accountant I who’s ready to grow with us. This is a full-time, hourly role where you’ll support monthly bookkeeping clients across a variety of industries, mostly service-based businesses that are doing big things but need help keeping their numbers in check.

You’ll get real-world experience fast. We’ll train you on our systems, support you every step of the way, and get you in the mix with actual client work early on. If you’re someone who loves cleaning up financial chaos, catching small details, and being part of a tight-knit team that actually cares, you’ll fit right in here.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Categorize and reconcile transactions in QuickBooks Online
• Communicate with clients and update internal chats with anything we need to track
• Prepare draft P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow reports
• Flag anything unusual (like errors, mixed personal expenses, or weird transactions)

What You Bring to the Table:

• 1–2 years of bookkeeping experience (must be familiar with QBO)
• Basic understanding of reconciliations and journal entries
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to juggle deadlines without dropping balls
• Comfortable communicating clearly—whether in writing or on video calls
