CVT or Experienced Veterinary Assistant

My Vet Animal Hospital is a privately owned veterinary practice that believes in work/life balance and commitment to gold standard patient care. We are looking for a thorough and organized Certified Veterinary Technician or Experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our team.

MAJOR JOB DUTIES:

-Analyze cytologies including urinalyses, CBC's, fecal floats, and skin scrapings

-Surgical monitoring

-Medication preparation, calculations, and administration

-Venipuncture and IV catheter placement

-Obtain diagnostic radiographs

-Proper animal restraint

-Vaccination preparation and protocol

-Cleaning, polishing, and charting teeth during dental prophylaxis

-Client education

-Assist in cleaning and maintenance of the hospital and all equipment

Pay: $23.00 - $30.00 per hour
