Job Description:

  • Working days/Rotation of Shifts - if needed: The work schedule is based on rotating shifts that start at 5:00 AM and end at 5:30 PM
  • Week one consists of six working days, taking place on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, while Wednesday is a day off
  • Week two's Tuesday and Wednesday are blocks of time in the middle of the week, with Monday being a designated day of rest and Thursday through Sunday bringing the week to a close
  • In a biweekly schedule, the standard working hours are 96.

Compensation:

The hourly payment for this position can be as high as $32.00, based on previous experience, with local benefits such as referral incentives and the possibility of an extra week's worth of salary.

General Purpose

The primary function of this position is to lead a group while also troubleshooting and delivering rapid preventive and corrective Facilities Maintenance Assistant to production lines, in addition to facilitating change-over.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Effectively maintain and repair equipment by routinely checking for issues and carrying out preventative measures.
  • Change out and introduce brand new hardware.
  • Experienced fabricators are able to create and rebuild parts using a variety of techniques and materials.
  • Execute facility upkeep responsibilities and guarantee a clean and secure workspace.
  • Monitor Inventory Levels: Apart from placing new orders, it is necessary to monitor the inventory levels to ensure sufficient stock. This monitoring can be done through the use of inventory management software or manually.
  • Efficiently handle multiple work orders simultaneously, prioritizing urgent tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Manage the exchange of hardware and the set up of manufacturing lines.

Qualifications:

  • Candidates without a High School diploma or its equivalent will not be considered for this position.
  • The Refrigeration/HVAC Trade or Vocational certification is the preferred qualification for this role.
  • A minimum of 0-5 years of industrial maintenance experience is mandatory for this job opening.
  • A candidate with a preference for a year or more of mechanical and electrical experience is preferable.
  • The position requires prior experience in diagnostic/troubleshooting and preventative maintenance.
  • Prior participation in a swift industrial setting.
  • Demonstrated familiarity with mechanical and technical operations.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • The ability to follow the precise instructions and plans provided by the producer.
  • A prior knowledge of Programmable Logic Control (PLC) is preferable.
  • The availability of hand tools may be necessary.
