Inpatient Surgical Coder- PRN

The Inpatient Facility Coder is an advanced-level coding professional responsible for independently coding high complex inpatient orthopedic and spine surgical procedures. This role requires extensive expertise in ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, HCPCS, DRG assignments, and inpatient reimbursement methodologies with a strong emphasis on complex spine procedures and orthopedic surgical services. The coder ensures compliance with all federal, state, and payer-specific regulations while serving as a subject matter expert (SME) for inpatient coding accuracy, documentation clarification, and coding quality initiatives.
