Optical Receptionist

Position Summary:

The Optical Receptionist is the first point of contact for our patients. You will play a key role in creating a positive first impression while managing daily administrative operations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced medical environment and values excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and check-in patients in a courteous and professional manner
• Answer multi-line phones, direct calls, and take accurate messages
• Receive payments for Optical clients
• Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality (HIPAA compliance)
• Assist with intake forms and necessary documentation
• Communicate effectively with staff and patients
• Perform general office tasks such as filing, scanning, and data entry

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Prior experience in a medical office or similar receptionist role preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance verification is a plus
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Proficient in using computers and medical office software (EMR experience preferred)
• Bilingual (English/Spanish)

Work Schedule:

Full-time: Monday–Friday, some Saturdays [8 hours]

Saturdays are required. Alternating East and West location offices.

$9.00 - $12.00 per hour
