Production/Material Handler - Full Time

MATERIAL HANDLER

Direct Mail Solutions is a full-service mail company located in Richmond, Virginia. DMS is seeking a Material Handler , who will assist Lettershop Operators in our production department.Primary Duties & Responsibilities

Safe operation of material movement equipment.

Ability to efficiently operate computerized inventory systems.

Efficient and effective handling of finished product/mail while tracking and storing.

Safe and well-organized loading of materials into machines.

Order and return material to and from the warehouse.

Assist coworkers in other areas for the overall success of the entire production department.

Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities:

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Well organized with the ability to prioritize workload.

Works well under pressure and meets deadlines.

Basic computer and communication skills are required.

Pallet Jack experience is a plus.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Ability to pay attention to detail.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis, occasionally more than 50 lbs. Frequent bending, twisting, and pulling.

Strong organizational skills.

Willing to work overtime as it is needed.

This is a full-time position. Day shift available.

Core day shift hours are three days a week 6:00am - 7:30pm
