Line Cook & Prep Cook

If you're a cook who understands cleanliness, organization, and the importance of following procedures set by your supervisor, we need to talk.

We're looking for a skilled, passionate, and dependable Line Cook/Prep Cook who thrives in a two-person kitchen within a small tavern setting. The right candidate is self-disciplined, reliable, accountable, and able to work well independently or as part of a small team.

Our menu includes great burgers, sandwiches, seafood tacos, wings, flounder, local shrimp, and daily chef specials. We know you're out there!

We're a local Mount Pleasant neighborhood bar and grill looking for someone who enjoys a neighborhood atmosphere and a fast-paced environment focused on preparing and cooking great food.

We currently have one Line Cook/Prep Cook position available. This position offers 20–25 hours per week, primarily evening shifts, with weekday and weekend availability required.

Responsibilities include line prep, cooking, safe food handling procedures, cleaning, and equipment maintenance in a high-volume, fast-paced kitchen.

Qualifications:

• Reliable
• Accountable
• Organized and Disciplined
• Possess strong organizational and decision making skills.
• At least 2-3 years of experience.
• Quality conscientious cook
• Is ServSafe Certified or will commit to becoming certified within 30 days
• Ability to work in a fast paced kitchen alone or alongside someone
• Experienced in food prep and storage
• At least 2-3 years of experience.
• Strong knife skills
• Ability to adhere to the highest standard of quality.
• Ability to maintain excellent product preparation and workflow in high-paced environment.

Additionally, cooks should be able to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 80 lbs. They should also be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.Positions includes working evenings, weekends and holidays.
