Why is this Respiratory Therapist role different

This role offers a combination of time in the branch and time in the field, allowing you to develop both patient‑facing clinical skills and strong workflow independence.

You’ll provide essential respiratory care, equipment setup, patient education, and clinical support, playing a key role in ensuring safe transitions from hospital to home.

Flexible schedule; overtime as needed

Daily check‑in at the branch with flexibility based on patient needs and hospital discharges

Hybrid-style role combining branch responsibilities and field visits

30–$36 per hour. On‑call rotation every 2 weeks

May include responding to urgent patient needs and hospital discharges

Conduct home visits to perform oxygen, CPAP/BiPAP, and ventilation equipment setups and follow‑ups

Educate patients and caregivers on equipment use, cleaning, troubleshooting, and maintenance

Assess patient needs, document care delivered, and escalate concerns appropriately

Respond to hospital discharge requests and support patient needs

Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and internal branch teams

Set up and operate respiratory care equipment including oxygen therapy, nebulization therapy, apnea monitoring, suctioning, PAP, and ventilation systems

Inspect and test equipment to ensure proper operating condition

Registered Respiratory Therapist with an active RT license

Comfortable using mobile technology, navigation tools, and digital documentation

Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program

Certificates, licenses, registrations or professional designations

Current RCP or RRT license in the state(s) of practice (as required)
