Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients and assist in menu planning to ensure timely and efficient food production
• Cook a variety of dishes with precision, following established recipes and safety standards
• Handle food with care, maintaining proper food safety and sanitation practices at all times
• Support meal preparation for daily service, catering orders, and special events
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, including knife skills and food handling procedures
• Assist with food plating, garnishing, and presentation to enhance visual appeal
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and excellent food service delivery

Qualifications

• Previous experience in dietary departments or dietary aide roles is highly desirable
• Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen experience within the food industry or restaurant settings
• Knowledge of menu planning, food safety protocols, and proper food handling techniques
• Excellent knife skills and ability to perform meal preparation efficiently
• Experience in catering or serving environments is a plus
• Demonstrated ability to work quickly, accurately, and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting
• Passion for culinary arts with a commitment to quality and customer satisfaction

Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour
