Dental Hygienist – FT / PT (Sign On Bonus $3500 FT)

Location: St. Louis, MO

Full Time or Part Time

W2 or 1099

We are hiring a Licensed Dental Hygienist to join a dynamic team of healthcare professionals. This is an opportunity to work in a mission-driven, community health setting where you can make a meaningful impact on patient education, prevention, and overall oral health.

POSITION OVERVIEW

Provide preventive dental care and patient education while supporting dentists in delivering high-quality oral health services. You will play a key role in improving long-term patient outcomes through hygiene and education .

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform dental cleanings (prophylaxis), scaling, and polishing
  • Remove plaque and calculus above and below the gumline
  • Take and process dental X-rays
  • Apply fluoride treatments and sealants as prescribed
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene, nutrition, and preventive care
  • Conduct initial assessments of teeth and gums; report findings to Dentist
  • Record patient medical histories, vitals, and dental charting
  • Assist dentists during procedures as needed
  • Maintain infection control standards and sterilization protocols
  • Support patient scheduling, recall systems, and follow-up care
  • Focus on patient education and preventative care

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Graduate of an accredited Dental Hygiene program
  • Active Missouri Dental Hygienist license (RDH or LDH) in good standing
  • CPR certification (or ability to obtain)
  • 1+ year of experience preferred (new grads encouraged to apply)
  • Experience as a Dental Assistant is a plus
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail oriented and team focused
