Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Commission Sales Associate role based at our Bellflower, CA dealership. The Commission Sales Associate will greet customers, actively listen to their needs, and guide them through the vehicle selection process, including test drives and feature demonstrations. This role includes explaining pricing, financing options, and add-on products in a clear, transparent manner, while following dealership processes and compliance requirements. The associate will maintain up-to-date product knowledge, accurately enter and update customer information in the CRM system, and follow up with leads to build a strong sales pipeline. Day-to-day responsibilities also include collaborating with finance and service teams, keeping the sales area and vehicles showroom-ready, and consistently working toward individual and team sales goals.
Qualifications
- Strong customer service, relationship-building, and interpersonal skills that support a friendly, no-pressure sales environment.
- Effective verbal communication, active listening, and presentation skills to clearly explain vehicle features, pricing, and financing options.
- Sales, negotiation, and closing abilities, with comfort working in a commission-based, performance-driven environment.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to use dealership systems, CRM tools, email, and mobile applications.
- Ability to learn and retain product knowledge for a diverse inventory of economic to luxury vehicles.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and commitment to delivering an excellent customer experience.
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple customers, leads, and follow-ups throughout the day.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by dealership operations.
- Previous automotive sales or retail sales experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is essential.
