Position Summary
The Energy Project Manager will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of energy-related projects, including energy efficiency upgrades, renewable energy installations (solar, etc.), building decarbonization, and infrastructure improvements in NYC facilities. The role involves coordinating multi-disciplinary teams, managing project budgets and schedules, and conducting client-facing activities. The selected candidate would be responsible for project management for Audit, Design, and Construction phase energy projects.
Key Responsibilities
Manage full lifecycle of energy projects from initiation through closeout, including scope definition, scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and stakeholder coordination.
Lead team in planning work and developing solutions to technical problems
Supervise preparation of construction documents by Design team
Present concepts to clients and represent Labella’s interests externally
Coordinate with internal teams, consultants, contractors, and regulatory agencies
Track project performance, risks, change orders, and reporting on budgets, timelines, and energy savings.
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, environmental, and agency-specific regulations.
Responsible for communication with other disciplines, vendors, and contractors to ensure incorporation of all information into project requirements and provide support as necessary.
Salary Range: $100,000 - $175,000 per year
