Duties

• Prepare vehicle surfaces by sanding, grinding, and cleaning to ensure optimal paint adhesion
• Apply primer, base coats, and clear coats using airless paint spraying equipment and hand tools
• Perform auto body repairs including welding, dent removal, and panel alignment before painting
• Buff and polish painted surfaces to achieve a smooth, glossy finish that exceeds customer expectations
• Conduct detailing and touch-up work to perfect the final appearance of each vehicle
• Assist with auto glass replacement and minor mechanical repairs as needed during restoration processes
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols for handling paints, chemicals, and power tools

Requirements

• Proven dealership or auto body shop experience with auto painting and body repair skills
• Strong knowledge of auto body repair techniques including welding, buffing, and detailing
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment such as airless paint sprayers
• Mechanical knowledge related to vehicle maintenance and auto restoration processes
• Experience with auto estimating software is a plus but not required
• Ability to lift heavy parts safely and perform physically demanding tasks consistently
• Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude towards clients and team members
