CGP: Payroll & Benefits Specialist

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Payroll & Benefits Specialist to assist their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting pay rate of $30.00 to $38.00 per hour.

Job Responsibilities:

•

Process payroll accurately by auditing data reconciling balances and ensuring timely payment completion.

•

Maintain employee records including updates new hires and tax related information within payroll systems.

•

Review and manage payroll deductions earnings and adjustments to ensure compliance and accuracy.

•

Support financial reporting by providing payroll data for accruals reconciliations and close activities.

•

Administer benefit programs by managing enrollments responding to inquiries and coordinating annual processes.

Requirements:

•

5+ years of payroll and benefits experience supporting multi location employees.

•

Demonstrate hands on experience with payroll systems and recent payroll processing responsibilities.

•

Use Excel at an advanced level along with proficiency in standard office tools.

•

Maintain strong knowledge of payroll regulations tax requirements and compliance standards.

•

Communicate clearly and manage multiple priorities while maintaining confidentiality.

Qualifications:

•

Analyze payroll data and respond to inquiries audits and reporting requirements with accuracy.

•

Collaborate with accounting and human resources teams to ensure data integrity and process alignment.

•

Improve workflows by identifying efficiencies in payroll benefits and reporting processes.

•

Maintain a high level of professionalism attention to detail and reliability in daily work.

• Bring certification multi jurisdiction experience or exposure to international payroll considered beneficial.
