Position Summary: The Quality Technician is responsible for ensuring that concrete, asphalt, and aggregate products meet established quality standards, customer specifications, and applicable industry requirements. This role performs field and shop testing, inspections, sampling, and data analysis to verify product consistency, performance, and compliance with project specifications.
Job Description:
- Travel too various customer locations and worksite locations sampling and testing asphalt, concrete, and aggregate.
- Conduct field density, moisture, and gradation tests.
- Document and report test results accurately.
- Ensure materials meet DOT and project specifications.
- Communicate quality issues and support troubleshooting.
- Maintain testing equipment and assist with plantfield inspections.
Qualifications:
- Experience in construction materials testing preferred; training provided.
- Ability to work outdoors, travel to jobsites, and perform physical tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and accurate record keeping.
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
