Administrative Assistant

For more than 60 years, Bennett & Pless has been a growing leader in structural engineering, delivering specialized expertise across the markets we serve. Our projects range in scope from simple site inspections to the design of new facilities, and we work at each stage feasibility studies, conceptual design, detailed design, and construction administration. We have an opportunity for an Administrative Assistant to join our Tennessee Region. This person will support the daily operations of the Tennessee offices sitting in-person out of either Chattanooga, Knoxville or Nashville.

Assist with data entry for proposals, projects, and change orders.

Provide administrative support to Project Managers, including scheduling, document preparation, and correspondence.

Perform general office tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining organized records.

Order office supplies and maintain inventory to ensure smooth daily operations.

High school diploma or equivalent required, associate or bachelor's degree preferred

• 2+ years prior experience as an office coordinator, admin assistant or relevant role
• Prior project accounting experience a plus.

Strong Microsoft Office skills
