Senior Accountant - Manufacturing | Growth Opportunities

We are partnering with a growing, privately held manufacturing company in the Nashville area that is adding a newly created Senior Accountant to support continued growth and future acquisition activity.

This position offers the opportunity to work directly with senior leadership, gain exposure to multiple business locations, and play a key role in strengthening accounting processes as the company continues to expand. The role was created to help take day-to-day accounting responsibilities off the plate of an experienced finance leader and will provide meaningful visibility across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Assist with month-end close, account reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting
• Support inventory and cost accounting activities, including cost allocations and analysis
• Help oversee accounting processes across multiple locations
• Assist with annual audit preparation and ongoing process improvements
• Partner with operations and leadership teams to improve reporting and internal controls
• Support future acquisition integration efforts and other strategic initiatives

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Manufacturing accounting experience required
• Experience with inventory and/or cost accounting
• Understanding of month-end close and general accounting processes
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with leadership and cross-functional teams
• Strong communication skills and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset
