Lifetime Primary Care in Greystone, AL is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse/Registered Nurse to join our flexi primary care team. Please submit a cover letter with your application.

Job Summary

• Provide primary care in an outpatient setting
• Manage a panel of adult patients with a focus on prevention and chronic disease management

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Licensed Practical Nurse/Registered Nurse license in Alabama; multi-state licensed preferred
• Board certification as a Licensed Practical Nurse/Registered Nurse
• Minimum 2 years of primary care, urgent care, internal medicine, or relevant clinical experience required
• Strong clinical decision-making and diagnostic skills
• Experience with EMR systems
• Excellent communication and patient rapport skills
• Fluent in English; bilingual Spanish-speaking preferred

Responsibilities

• Licensed Practical Nurse/Registered Nurse (Flexi) – Primary Care Clinic, 2 Yrs Healthcare Exp Req
• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, including history and physical exams
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions
• Order, interpret, and manage labs and diagnostic tests
• Prescribe medications and develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide preventive care, screenings, and patient education
• Document all encounters accurately and timely in the EMR
• Perform minor in-office procedures as appropriate
• Respond to patient messages, results, and follow-ups as needed
• Ensure compliance with clinical guidelines and practice protocols
• Demonstrate clinical leadership and professionalism; mentor students as needed

Required Skills

• Proficient in venipuncture and specimen collection
• Experience with IV hydration therapy, including:
• Counseling patients on treatment options
• Initiating IV access
• Monitoring and supervising infusions
• Skilled in independently performing women's health exams, including Pap smears
• Experience conducting and interpreting spirometry testing
• Strong patient education and communication skills
