Job Summary
Elite Mortgage is growing, and we're looking for motivated, relationship-driven Mortgage Loan Consultants to join our team.
Unlike many mortgage companies, our loan officers work alongside one of Northern California's top-performing real estate organizations, creating opportunities to build lasting referral relationships while serving homebuyers throughout California.
This position is ideal for licensed California real estate professionals who also hold or are eligible to obtain their DRE Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) Endorsement.
Whether you're an experienced producer or an agent looking to expand into mortgage lending, we'll provide the tools, technology, coaching, and support to help you grow your business.
What You'll Do
- Originate residential mortgage loans
- Educate borrowers on financing options
- Analyze borrower financials and recommend loan solutions
- Generate business through referrals, networking, Realtors, builders, and past clients
- Maintain communication throughout the loan process
- Build long-term relationships with clients and referral partners
- Structure Conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, Jumbo, and Non-QM loans
- Work with processors and underwriting to ensure smooth closings
- Maintain compliance with DRE, NMLS, and lending regulations
- Prospect consistently using phone, social media, networking, open houses, and database marketing
QualificationsRequired
- Active California Real Estate Salesperson or Broker License
- Active California DRE Mortgage Loan Originator Endorsement
- Active NMLS License
- Strong communication skills
- Customer-focused mindset
- Ability to generate self-sourced business
- Strong organizational and time management skills
Preferred
- 1+ years mortgage origination experience
- Existing referral partners
- Experience with purchase transactions
- Knowledge of Conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, Jumbo, and Non-QM products
- CRM experience
- Bilingual (Spanish preferred but not required)
