Senior Staff Accountant | Hybrid | Fort Worth, TX

Location: Fort Worth, TX

Schedule: 4 days onsite / 1 day remote

Compensation: $85,000–$110,000 base salary

This is an excellent opportunity for someone coming directly from public accounting or industry accounting who wants exposure to month-end close, financial reporting, analysis, and process improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with month-end close activities and journal entries
  • Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Manage prepaid assets and accrual schedules
  • Apply daily cash receipts and maintain accounts receivable records
  • Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies
  • Prepare customer account reconciliations and statements
  • Support collections efforts for overdue balances
  • Assist with year-end audit preparation and documentation
  • Generate ad hoc reports and analysis for management
  • Provide backup support for accounts payable functions as needed
  • Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance required
  • 1+ years of accounting experience preferred
  • Open to candidates coming directly from public accounting or industry
  • CPA designation or CPA-track candidates strongly preferred
  • Experience with SAP is a major plus
  • Strong Excel skills required
  • Experience with Power BI is a plus (training available)
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Motivated, growth-oriented mindset with a desire to learn and advance
