The Painter is responsible for overseeing and performing high-quality interior and exterior painting work on residential and commercial projects. This role ensures all painting operations are completed efficiently, safely, and to company standards while supporting and guiding other team members as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform interior and exterior painting on residential and commercial job sites
• Operate and maintain paint sprayers, rollers, and brushes with proficiency
• Lead and support painting crew members to ensure quality and productivity standards are met
• Prepare surfaces including sanding, patching, caulking, and priming
• Inspect completed work to ensure it meets company quality standards
• Maintain a clean and organized job site at all times
• Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines
• Communicate job progress and needs with supervisors or project managers

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years experience in residential and commercial painting
• Proven experience operating paint sprayers (airless and/or HVLP systems)
• Strong knowledge of surface preparation and finishing techniques
• Ability to read and follow project specifications and instructions
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or lead small crews
• Strong work ethic and commitment to quality craftsmanship

Preferred Skills

• Experience leading or training other painters
• Knowledge of different coatings, finishes, and application methods
• Basic understanding of construction site coordination

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
