Advancement in a growing tech company Job Details We are currently seeking a highly motivated, experienced Staff Tax Accountant to join our dynamic Accounting and Finance team. Responsibilities Manage and verify sales tax exemption certificates. Work with the tax team to respond to and resolve tax notices. Prepare work papers and schedules for sales tax, property tax, and gross receipts tax. Prepare tax registrations, POAs, and other forms required by taxing jurisdictions. Perform routine tax accounting tasks such as reconciliations. Identify and contribute to process improvements to enhance tax compliance and reporting efficiency. Document and maintain standard operating procedures for tax-related activities. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree in Taxation or CPA certification is preferred. A minimum of 2 years of experience in sales tax compliance. Experience with Avalara.
