Job Description
Job Title: Patient Services Representative III (Phlebotomist III)
Location: Colorado Springs, CO
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 5:00pm, Variable shifts
Pay Rate: $ 28.00 / Hourly
Dean's Professional Services is actively seeking a seeking a skilled and compassionate Phlebotomist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be experienced in collecting high-quality blood specimens and ensuring the comfort and safety of our patients. This role plays a key part in maintaining patient trust and supporting accurate and timely laboratory testing.
Key Responsibilities
Collect blood specimens via venipuncture and/or capillary techniques.
Accurately label and prepare specimens for laboratory analysis.
Verify patient identity and maintain proper documentation.
Maintain a clean and well-stocked phlebotomy area.
Follow all infection control and safety protocols.
Provide excellent customer service by maintaining a positive, professional demeanor with patients and team members.
Perform data entry and ensure accurate patient records.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Completion of an accredited phlebotomy training program.
Certification (such as CPT, RPT, or equivalent) preferred.
