FULL-TIME CUSTODIAN

JOB DESCRIPTION

Purpose: The custodian will be responsible for general cleaning of various areas of the facility. Duties may include a combination of several, but are not limited to, the specific duties listed below. The custodian will also help with routine maintenance, generally in the summer. The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week.

Accountability

• Reports directly to the Property Manager
• Position has soft-line accountability to the Principal and Ministerial staff

Specific Duties and Responsibilities

• Clean all preschool, school, staff, office, and gym restrooms
• Clean the school and church kitchens
• Clean all classrooms
• Clean the worship center, various meeting rooms, restrooms in the church building
• Clean both the school offices and the church offices
• Sweep and auto-scrub all hallways and entryways
• Assist with room set-ups and teardowns for meetings and events, as needed
• Laundering custodial cleaning towels
• Summer duties includes re-finishing floors, cleaning carpets, deep cleaning throughout the building, painting and various other projects as determined by Property Manager.
• Back-up for the other custodians, should the need arise.

• Ability to perform physical tasks, including some lifting and moving of heavy objects

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
