Laboratory Technician We are seeking a diligent and skilled Laboratory Technician to join our team in conducting essential testing and analysis for our specialty chemical products. This position is a backfill opportunity due to a current lab technician relocating. The role involves a variety of tasks including sample testing, equipment operation, and data management to ensure product quality and compliance.

Responsibilities Perform in-process, final, and retain sample testing for prepolymers, curatives, and crop products. Operate and maintain analytical equipment including HPLC, GC, and Auto Titrators. Conduct testing on retain samples for shelf life extension or root cause investigation.

Enter data into LIMS and SAP systems accurately. Approve incoming raw materials based on Certificate of Analysis (COA) results and required tests. Perform basic laboratory functions such as stocking chemicals, disposing of waste, washing glassware, shipping samples, and maintaining a clean laboratory environment.

Essential Skills

Proficiency in operating HPLC, GC, and performing titrations. Strong understanding of chemistry principles.

Experience with data entry, LIMS, SAP, and quality control processes. Knowledge of prepolymers, polymers, and crop products testing. Competence in using laboratory equipment such as viscometer and particle size analyzer.

Additional

Skills & Qualifications Associate degree in Science required, Bachelor's degree in Chemistry preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Work Environment The role is based in a laboratory setting, currently staffed by six team members. The successful candidate will report directly to the Quality Control Supervisor. The work environment supports collaboration and innovation, ensuring a clean and organized space to conduct various laboratory activities.

Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Greenville, SC.
